OK, here's another question yet, sorry but i hate bunching questions in one post.
I need to lay down about 310 square feet of 1708 on my topsides (25' flybridge) so my question is, how much epoxy do I need to to use, being that it's getting rolled on? Thanks!

IIRC the easiest method is to weigh your fiberglass and then calculate the same weight of epoxy (for a 50/50 mix of glass & resin). Also IIRC a gallon of epoxy weights 8 lbs. / gallon. The other way to look at it is, your 1708 weighs 25 oz / sq yrd. Your flybridge is approx. 35 sq yrds. You'll need 875 ounces of epoxy which is just about 7 gallons +-. You should figure in a fudge factor of 15% for spillage, wastage & miscalculations like mine! ;-) good luck.

Damn Rick, you did all the work for me- thank you! Seeing as how I have about 4 gallons, I'll need about another 4 to be safe. Thanks again!

Here's a limk to the latest work I've done to her. I actually installed one of the 4x8 sheets on the roof today, the other will go on tomorrow hopefully...
